Here too are images of party items and accessories, along with fashion advice, personality quizzes, and more. Each of the 24 tattoos is complemented with interesting illustrated features that will keep kids entertained when they aren't decorating their arms with colorful images. The tattoos are applied by placing them on the skin, moistening with water, then sliding away the backing paper to show the image. Moms and Dads will be happy to learn that all tattoos are perfectly safe and easy to remove from even the most delicate skin. Simply apply a little bit of baby oil or adhesive tape--or wait for 3-to-5 days, at which time the tattoo simply fades away.
My Take on the Book
If you have a young daughter who is six years old and above , she will most likely enjoy this book.
The book is packed with ideas on fashion, style,ideas for fun sleepovers, quizzes, puzzles and 24 easy to use tattoos.
Some of the activities are : making jewelry out of shells, making costumes, how to use a scarf to change an outfit, using colorful belts to accessorize an outfit, swapping clothes with a best friend, and more.
The book is easy to read and the sections are clearly labeled.
What I really liked about this book is no where did it instruct the girls to use video games or television to plan their fun. We need more books like this one that allow the girls to use their imagination and their inherent creativity.
