New Lysol No-Touch Kitchen System

About the Product
The makers of Lysol just launched a new household product called the No-Touch Kitchen System (NTKS) as part of their Mission for Health initiative. This is an especially great product for moms because it's basically one solution for your kitchen counter. The NTKS is the first-ever hands-free dispenser that cleans dishes, kitchen surfaces and your hands all in one!

On average, kitchens are cleaned more than 400 times a year and studies have shown that the bottles used to clean the kitchen area may be soiled and heavily contaminated with germs, potentially causing cross contamination. The NTKS will help prevent against that because of its no-touch feature and all-in-one solution.

My Take on the Product
I was lucky enough to have the opportunity to try and the Lysol no touch kitchen system lately and trying it over the last week or so. I was impressed to find that this product meets the need a lot of parents as it allows for anyone to wash their hands without truly touching anything spreading germs. The concept of this is a great one and one that I wish someone would've come up with a lot sooner. Actually much of the idea reminds me of what you find in many public restrooms these days, as it comes to automatic eyes being seen in toilets, wash basins, paper towel dispensers and other areas like this. Now you can have one of these in your own home.

In tying this out I will say that the product tended to work well most of the time. We did have some issues where the product would go off without us wanting to, especially if you left it turned on. So for us, we ended up turning this off when we weren't using it. The problem with this though was that after you turn it off it takes a little bit of time for the system to cycle up and thus you are ending up having to leave your hands underneath and in front of the eye and you don't always know when the soap is going to come out of the dispenser.

The dispenser itself does provide adequate amounts of soap which I loved because when my kids tend to wash their hands a lot of the times they use either too little or too much soap. This dispenser ends up providing just the right amount of soap for you to use to make sure that you completely cleanse your hands.

All in all, I was impressed with the dispenser. It did have a few quirks that you have to get used to but once you do it is a great addition to your home, whether it be in the kitchen, bathroom, or other area in your house.
