Lucy has over 21 million books in print, including picture books, sticker books, cloth books, colouring books, board books, pull-the-tab and lift-the-flap books. Says the author-illustrator, "I get more pleasure and inspiration from walking around a primary school than from any art gallery." She lives in Hampshire with her partner and four teenage children.
My Take on the Book
This was a fun addition to the Maisy stories! My youngest daughter has come to really enjoy Maisy over the years and this book continues in her love of the stories as well as the fact that in this book my daughter gets the opportunity to also have fun with lift-the-flaps (which she loves). On top of all this though she really enjoyed the story and the first time we read it, she wanted to read it over and over, which is always a good sign. As a parent you will love the interplay and interaction between the book and your own child! This was a fun, interactive book that you all will appreciate!
