Book Review - INTERRUPTING CHICKEN by David Ezra Stein

Reading bedtime stories is a wonderful experience to share with your children. Do you have a child that interrupts the story? You can laugh, enjoy the language, and talk about the characters in this book with your child.

This story is about a father chicken and his child. The father tries hard to read the stories to help his young chicken to go to sleep: Hansel and Gretel, Little Red Riding Hood, and even Chicken Little.

Each time the daddy reads the story the little chicken does not go to sleep . In fact the little chicken attempts to warn the characters in the book which totally exhausts the father chicken .
Finally the daddy chicken who is so tired he asks the little chicken to read him a story and he falls asleep.

This is a nice story about options and reactions to books. You as parents need to be prepared for your child to react with the story and have fun with the story. Enjoy!
