My Take on the Product
For me having pets is both wonderful and challenging. Pets give us unconditional love with asking little in return, while at the same time, they have needs that are sometimes hard to deal with when you have to work on a daily basis. Recently my own family adopted a new cat from a local animal control. The issue that we have with her is that she has all of her claws and as a young cat she still like to sharpen her claws and lately it has been on our own furniture. On top of this she is mischievous and is always seemingly getting into trouble, so having the ability to keep an eye on her definitely appeals to me in many ways. With that in mind this camera gives peace of mind and allows me to know what is happening around my home no matter where I am.

This fully function and controllable camera is can be controlled remotely and you get a crisp video and even audio feed that allows you to keep an eye on what is happening both day and night within your home. With the fact that the camera has a full 360 degree control radius as well as both day and night vision capabilities, no matter if you are at work or if you are away on vacation you can know what is happening at home.

The camera was super easy to set up, and within seconds you are ready to go. One of the perks of this is the software that it comes with. The software was very easy to use and allows you full control over the camera itself. A nice thing about the software and the camera is that once set up you can use the camera over multiple devices to keep even more tabs on your home.

All-in-all I was very impressed with the quality of the camera, the crispness of the images that were shared as well as the ease of installation and usability across multiple platforms. I was even able to catch my cat doing some things that she knows she is not supposed to be doing! My Take on the Book
My five year old was the person that I had use this, as I knew that it was geared toward younger kids. She loved the idea of using this because she sees me using my cameras all of the time so she actually has been bugging me to have her own.

The design of this camera is quite rugged and large which is good for young children as it is easy to hold, but not too heavy either.

The camera was easy to use and it really did not take much time for me to show her how to use it, and she actually took it out of my own hands and wanted to just figure it out for herself.

I will say that for me I would have liked to have had a bit better quality in the pictures. With more and more cameras coming out with better quality, I think kids cameras should too. I say this because I noticed that quite a few of the pictures that she took were a bit blurry and/or dark especially when she was shooting inside. If the camera had a built in flash, this may have helped, but alas it did not.

One of the things that sets this camera apart from other kids cameras I have seen is the projector capability, as I have not seen this on other kids cameras. My daughter loved sharing her pictures on the wall in our living room!

Overall, I am pleased for the most part on how this runs, though would have liked to have had better quality images in general. My daughter loves this and your child will too!

Kodak Cameras

I have been using a Kodak digital camera now for the past five years and recently J-Mom and I have been talking about whether we should consider buying a new one. I take the majority of pictures in my family and I love it. Not only is it an art form that allows me to express my creativity but it also allows me to capture memories and my reality on a daily basis.

In looking at different cameras I have definitely been considering options. It has amazed me at the number of cameras that are out there today and at the cost of the cameras. When we bought our camera it was a pretty nice on at 5 mega pixels and it ended up costing us between $250-$350... at that point...that was a pretty good deal. In this day of ever smaller cameras I tend to find more and more cameras that have pretty good resolution for everyday use, for between $90-$200.

I have been researching options for cameras and seeing that we have had nothing but good experiences with our current Kodak, I am definitely not ruling them out. At the current point I like the Kodak Z1012 IS. One thing that I like about this model is that is is a little larger and gives a little larger view screen as well as a 12X optical zoom which is nice. I also like the high ISO that is available and the fact that it produces 10 mega pixel images.

I have talked to some people whi have used this in the past and they said that they liked the camera, but that battery life was a bit low even with lithium batteries. I don't have first hand knowledge at whether this is true as I have not had the opportunity to try this camera for a lengthy period of time (outside of the store), so it is hard to say whether this is the case. It is the case that this camera does use batteries, and as in most cases, lithium batteries would definitely be the choice for me. I have had great results using Energizer Lithium batteries in the past, not only for my current camera, but also for other household items and hands down, the extra cost you pay for the batteries is worth it in longevity. So long live the energizer bunny on this one!

I have to say that I wish that there was a way to try out these potential cameras prior to buying them to work out whether they are the best for you or not (wouldn't that be a nice incentive for buyers).

So my search continues... what cameras would you recommend?
