Review - Modern Art Memory Game

About the Game
The "Modern Art Memory Game" features classic modern art from the world's most renowned artists. A great introduction to art history for the whole family, this memory game comes complete with a foldout booklet identifying the artist, the name of the piece, and the year it was created. Older kids and adults can play a more advanced version of this classic game by earning additional points for remembering the specific facts behind each artwork. Artists like Andy Warhol, Edvard Munch, Stuart Davis, Henri Matisse, Pablo Picasso, Kurt Schwitters, Vincent van Gogh, Josef Albers, Wassily Kandinsky, and many others are featured here among 36 different artists in total.

My Take on the Game
This was a great game that allowed  my kids to be exposed to some amazing artists. As we do not live in a large metropolitan area with a museum that would allow us to introduce our girls to these artists in person so this game was a great way to provide them with the introduction that I want to share with them when I can.

The kids took a little time to get a hang of the game in figuring out what was what, but they caught on quick and we had some very great educational discussions about the artists as they started to get to know the pieces.

This was a great was to incorporate fun and educational in one. I highly recommend this to anyone who has a child and is looking for them to be able introduced to modern art!
