DVD Review - The Grace Card

About the DVD

Everything can change in an instant … and take a lifetime to unravel. When Mac McDonald loses his son in an accident, the ensuing 17 years of bitterness and pain erodes his love for his family and leaves him angry with God … and just about everyone else. Mac’s rage stonewalls his career in the police department and makes for a combustible situation when he’s partnered with Sam Wright, a rising star on the force—who happens to be a part-time pastor and a loving family man.

Can they somehow join forces to help one another when it’s impossible for either of them to look past their differences—especially the most obvious one? Every day, we have the opportunity to rebuild relationships and heal deep wounds by extending and receiving God’s grace. Offer THE GRACECARD … and never underestimate the power of God’s love.

My Take on the DVD
This was an amazing movie that touches the soul. It also tackles a number of issues that are far reaching such as grief, racism, grief and much more. The movie is both inspirational and motivational and I know in watching this I was impressed by both the strong plat and writing within the film and the actors that portrayed the characters as well.

The movie allows you to see the growth of the characters which is powerful, and you leave the movie feeling that the world can indeed be changed for the better. The movie makes you think long and hard about your own thoughts and feelings on the issues that were raised as any good movie will, and though this movie was entertaining, it was also educational and eye-opening.
This is a great movie and one that I would highly recommend to all!
