My Take on the Book
If you are one who is fascinated by the Titanic or whether you are not, you will find this book full of so many details. It will answer all of the even smallest questions about the Titanic.
This book includes photos of the people, rooms, menus, and then artists drawings of the progression of the ship toward the iceberg which ultimately sunk the ship that should not have sunk.
You will read actual statements from survivors about their rescue and their future. You will learn about those who died.
Why were there not enough boats to save all the passengers? That question is answered in this book.
The last part of the book talks about Robert Ballard's discovery of the Titanic . There are photographs of its placement on the bottom of the sea and you will see the plaque he left asking those who come after him not to take anything or disturb this "gravesite".
