About the Book
What if a monster lived inside your mailbox? What if your school had a cursed locker that made its owners go missing? What might happen if you wandered down a silent, dark, mazelike alleyway? What if you rode on a haunted roller coaster? In each of the tales in this book, people are afraid. Very afraid. Read their stories. See if you share their fears. Because if you don't now ... you will.

My Take on the Book
Most children have some kind of fear growing up. It might be noises that cannot be explained or imaginary monsters under a bed or in a closet.

Michael Dahl has written a book with 25 short scary stories. In each story the main character has a fear that is revealed in the story. Here are a few examples of short story titles: What They Found In The Alley, Something's Wrong With Locker 307, The Monster In The Mailbox, and Erased.

Be prepared to me amazed by the author's imagination and creativity. After reading the short stories you may begin to wonder about the noises and the dark.

The author writes descriptive stories. You can feel the characters anxiety, fear, and their imagination on overload.

So are you a fearless reader?
