About the Book
Wren Baker is an anxious twelve-year-old, so when her mother goes into a hospital for depression, and she and her younger brother, who has Asperger's syndrome, go to live with her aunt and her cousin, Silver, who have just recently moved to Pennsylvania, her stress level soars--especially since Silver is a fearless child who conceives a plan to climb Creeper Mountain and interview "Witch Weatherly" for the class history project.

My Take on the Book
This was a great book that is a heart-warming tale that will intrigue and interest you throughout the book. There are secrets that are unveiled, friendships that are explored and even some experiences that the characters face that will test their resolve and their fears. The book was a page-turner and it was one that all young readers will appreciate. The main character in this is a sixth grader and so many kids at this time in their life face fears, and she is forced to take risks and face the fears that she has like many kids have to in real life too. My daughter read this and really connected with the characters. By the end she was asking for more and you will be too!
