My Take on the Book
What makes this book so different than so many others that are on the market is the "history you can hold" that I mentioned above. These pieces of history that are reproduced and placed here in the book make this amazing leader of our nation come alive for all who read it. My daughter is fascinated by our Presidents right now, and she just loved this book. Not only is it full of great historical facts and figures, but you also get to literally "touch" history through the reproductions placed throughout the book. This was a fun way to make history fun and at the same time made the father of our nation that much more tangible of a person in the eyes of my eight year old (and me as well). I highly recommend this book to young and old alike, as it will open your eyes to the man and the leader that he was and I think you will be very impressed overall with the quality of the research and writing throughout the entire book.
