My Take on the Book
This book is a great resource for adults. If you are not familiar with children's books, the lists the author includes will offer you many books that you can introduce your child to when they want to read or when you want to read a story to your child.
The author does several things that I think make this a great resource. In her table of contents she divides the books into age levels. At the back of the book she takes all the books and divides them into specific genre.
Each book has a page or two of its own. There is a short introduction to the story, a list of books that are similar, an interesting illustration, and a place for the child to rate the book's story, name a favorite character, and add any other comment.
Even though the author highlights 101 books, because she also listed other books to read on the same page as the highlighted book, this resource has far more than the 101 titles. Bianca Schulze included a " Did you know" fact about the book on each page too. I found those very interesting to read.
A great book to add to your family library.
