Social Media Darling Kina Grannis & Hipstamatic Present “The Never-Ending Summer” Photo Contest

Winner Will Receive $500 Shopping Spree at Lucky Brand

Los Angeles-based singer-songwriter, Kina Grannis, and Hipstamatic have teamed up for “The Never-Ending Summer” photo contest that is entering its final week with more than 13,000 submissions. The popular iPhone application is challenging its three million users and Kina’s massive online community to use the limited edition summer-themed Bondi HipstaPak to capture their favorite sun-soaked summer moments. Participants can share photos and vote for their favorite entries directly on Facebook and Twitter. The top-voted winner will be announced next week and will receive a $500 gift card from Lucky Brand. In addition, everyone who submits a photo will receive a free download of “Mr. Sun” from Kina’s album, Stairwells, as well as a never-before-heard alternate version of the track. Kina Grannis’ latest music video for “The One You Say Goodnight To” premiered last month on mtvU, making its debut as the #2 Top Viewed video on MTV.com. The track is the current single from her album, Stairwells, which debuted on Billboard’s Top 200 and at #2 on the New Artist/Heatseeker Chart in April. “The One You Say Goodnight To” is the follow-up single to “Valentine” which has amassed over nine million views on Kina’s YouTube channel (where she has over 401,000 subscribers and 70 million cumulative video views).
