My Take on the Book

This is a great book that is really brings you into the story from the very first page. The author really is able to flush out the characters and show you a coming of age story of a tween that has to learn a lot about the world around her. I appreciated the author's look at an uncertain world and allowing you to see this world through the eyes of a young girl that you will really connect with. In the end the author helps you to see how Maddy works to make sense of the world and in the end, her life and through this journey the author inspires readers.
