My Take on the Book
This was a powerful book with strong characters and an even stronger story line. The book brings in slavery and the treatment of people in those times and I know for my oldest daughter her eyes were opened to a world that she is lucky enough to not have had to live through. The book looks at runaway slaves and really sheds light on the plight and what people went through in this era. It is a very powerful book for teens and adults!
