About the Book
Like flash cards, a book of brain teasers, and a trivia game all rolled into one, Quiz Spinners are a unique and interactive way for kids to learn new information. Heavy card pages spin out to reveal a question, with answers on the back. But kids are encouraged not to cheat--this game's all about using your brain! In Quiz Spinners: Book 2, kids "take a spin" and ask themselves or a friend questions such as: "Do fish sleep with their eyes open?", "Which is bigger, the earth or the moon?", "Are there three or seven colors in a rainbow?" and more. (Ages 4-6)
My Take on the Books
The author of these interesting little books has produced a clever idea putting together fun and learning. These hand held, sturdy books of questions and answers are perfect for an elementary child. The pages are connected at the top and swivel out. Each page has one question that is colorfully illustrated on the front with the answer on the back.
The questions are about the things in our world. Here are some examples from Book 1 and 2: Which part of its body does a fish use to breathe? When an animal is awake at night and sleeps during the day it is . . .
What is a baby deer called? and Do fish sleep with their eyes opened?
I can see this book used at home, in the car, or even on a trip. It is easy to carry and will provide hours of fun.
