Book Review - The Sky
About the Book
Young astronomers can explore the mysteries of our skies in this engaging book. The planets and stars in our solar system; how the earth and planets travel around the sun; why we have day, night, and different seasons; and several other topics are explained. Fun activities at the back of the book reinforce the information and allows kids to test what they've learned. Also includes a guide for parents that expands on some of the terminology and concepts.
My Take on the Book
Here is a book which will help you answer questions about the sky that your child may have for you. It is written so well in language children will easily comprehend. The illustrations accompany the text so well too. The authors wrote facts about the stars, planets, winter/summer, day/night, and much more. They included several easy activities for you and your child to enjoy and a parents' guide. Here is another great resource for your family library.
