My Take on the Book
I love the concept of being able to talk as a family, and for mine the dinner table is definitely one place where this happens. Sometimes it takes a little more effort than others but it is always something that we strive for and practice. What I love about this book was the fact that is set up to assist a family with either starting a conversation among family members had not yet begun, or provides additional support for conversations that are already occurring. The book is short and sweet but the questions within our so meaningful and opened the door for dialogue that will last much longer than the meal itself. I believe that using the questions in this book will help to set a great example for all families to be able to show that all views are important in that conversations between family members are valued and important.
