My Take on the Movie
The Nut Job 2: Nutty By Nature was a great follow up to the first movie. You bring back the characters that you loved in the first movie for a whole new adventure. My girls love how adventurous Surly was and while he may come across as a bit self-centered at the beginning, he redeems himself throughout the movie and you come to love him and the all of the rest of the characters in this film, or at least we did.
In this movie, Surly and his friends all live in the Nut Factory after hitting the jackpot, but unfortunately they are a bit too complacent and end up losing it all. They have to work as a team to re build and figure out where they will fit in while also fighting a new enemy, the mayor and his cronies.
This movie was fun, with great characters, plot, action and more. There also was humor and even drama mixed in which made the film a ton of fun to watch as a whole family. This is a great movie, and I highly recommend it.
