Book Review - 99 Things You Wish You Knew Before

About the Book
99 Things You Wish You Knew Before®… Stressing Out! is not only a treasury of stress relief wisdom and insight, but the beautiful, intense story of author and stress relief expert, Lauren Miller’s own private journey through major crisis. In less than a two year period of time, Lauren experienced a divorce, double mastectomy, 16 chemotherapy treatments, an additional year of chemo, 6 weeks of daily radiation, 12 surgeries, third degree burns, skin graphs, and a staph infection that spread throughout her blood stream.

Yet, she triumphed over these major stressors with deeper insight into what she had been teaching all along--quick effective stress relief skills and practices that work...truly transforming lives. This book is packed full of valuable, easy-to-use information that, when applied, has the potential to transform your entire perception of life. Take back your ability to live life without always reacting to the circumstances and the world around you.
Miller confronts those  vital issues that are inherent to living life—self-image, gratitude, family anxiety, people-pleasing, and more! You will gain all the tools you need to maintain inner peace in the midst of life's challenges.

Miller, who is also a much-loved international speaker, bases her book on over 18 years of experience and research in stress relief and anxiety management, and ten years of working to empower the lives of men and women with the most powerful and effective stress prevention strategy today.

My Take on the Book
How many of you get stressed out over the littlest things? (well I guess they could be BIG things as well). In this book, the author does a great job at making you consider all of these issues to help you to find more happiness in yourself, and your life in general. The book is full of tools that will help you to better examine how you are living your life now and how you would like to  live your life in the future and I have found myself looking at sections and re-reading sections over and over since I first read through it the first time.

I loved the fact that the author had so much experience with dealing with stress and finding stress relief for herself and others as she places her personal experience throughout this book and it makes the book that much easier to read and relate to. She also integrates research into the book as well which will satisfy people that are looking for tangible information from others in the field.

So whether you are stressed currently or know that you have stress on the horizon, this book will help you re-evaluate how you deal with this. I encourage you to read this and let me know your thoughts!
