My Take on the Book
Max has written a book to illustrate how God's son , Jesus, and His life on Earth, was indeed His gift to us to show us how we are related in a deep and meaningful way to God. He shows us how the way Jesus lived and what He taught is our life also. He is teaching us through His life the type of life we should live so that our final destination is the same as the one Jesus had. We should be journeying toward eternal life with God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit.

How does one do that? Scripture shows us the way. Jesus's own words in the Bible and actions while on Earth, show us the way. Max Lucado clearly indicates this in each chapter of this book.

Max tells us we should evaluate our journey. Who is always there for us? Who can we always trust?Who loves us unconditionally and continues to forgive us no matter how many times we sin?

Only Jesus does this. Only He can open doors for us along the way. .Trust Him and follow Him.

As Max writes so well with his reminder of Jesus is coming, we do not know the time or day, but each one of us needs to be prepared for his arrival.

How are you living your life? What path have you chosen?

Max Lucado's book illustrates the path is there for us to follow. Read the book and decide for yourself. It is very clear.
