My Take on the Book
This is a cute story that would be perfect to read at the beginning of a school experience for a young child. Often young children might feel hesitant to attend school. There are so many questions they may ask: will I have friends, what will I do, what will I wear, etc.
Bigfoot has some difficulties before and once he arrives at school . He is worried as he finds it difficult to shop for school clothes and shoes. He is worried about finding friends just like a child might be too. As the story progresses your child might identify with Bigfoot. Bigfoot's school experience ends well.
A good story to discuss about their anxieties attending school for the first time or a new grade.
