Book Review - Escaping the Nazis on the Kindertransport
About the Book
Tells the stories--in their own words--of several of the thousands of Jewish children rescued from Nazi Germany between 1938 and 1940 and brought to new homes in the United Kingom. Memoir pieces, poems, photographs, and other primary sources bring their stories to life.
My Take on the Book
This was a powerful book that brought out some amazing stories of the children that were a part of this amazing movement to save the lives of so many. The stories were so well written and so compelling. You will be drawn in to the stories from the stories themselves but also the powerful images throughout the book.
