Book Review - There Was an Old Lady Who Swallowed a Frog!
About the Book
Spring is in the air, and everyone's favorite old lady is ready to celebrate!
That zany old lady is back--and with a serious case of spring fever! This time she's swallowing items to make the most of the season...with a beautiful garden!
With rhyming text and funny illustrations, this lively version of the classic song will appeal to young readers with every turn of the page--a wacky story for the first day of spring!
My Take on the Book
If you have read and enjoyed the other "Old Lady Who Swallowed . . .: stories , you will love and laugh through the newest one.The story rhymes and has a delightful singing rhythm . Your child can join in the fun of "reading" it with you as the story repeats the words until the ending.
The ending will put a smile on your face because the old lady was eating the things she needed to "burp" up a spring garden. This is a clever story by Lucille Colandro and the illustrations by Jared Lee will put another smile on your face.
