My Take on the Book
There are four entries for activities using the following books written by Emily Madill: Captain Joe to the Rescue, Captain Joe Saves the Day, Captain Joe's Gift, and Captain Joe's Choice. I have read the listed books and they are great books to share with students. The resource book is an opportunity for teachers to extend the content in the stories.
Each entry is written in a lesson plan format.There are specific activity sheets which will encourage your students to think creativity.
So much information for the adult using Emily's books. I believe you will find the resource book a useful guide.
