My Take on the Book
This nonfiction book written by Carole P. Roman about Turkey is excellent for a young child. It has illustrations which accompany simple but well written text.
You child will learn about cities in Turkey, its location, the food they people eat, the names children may be given, games the children play and famous sites. Of course there is more in her book for your child to learn.
If you enjoy this book, Carole has written an entire series of books which introduce children to different cultures. You may want to look into those also.
