My Take on the Book
This book was written especially for those people living in the city. It covers everything: soil. fertilizing, roof top gardening, vertical gardening, apartment gardens, watering, controlling pests, tools and ways to encourage children to garden.
I was especially intrigued with the chapter of "Going Vertical in Your Garden". the advice in this chapter to use trellises is applicable to not just urban growers but those of us with space too.
The chapter referred to using trellises , panels, arbors, pergolas, and even creating a tepee. So many ideas for using hanging pots and stacking planters too.
If you love to garden and have limited space,I believe this book will be a good resource for you.
