My Take on the Book
If you have a young child in your family who you read to and loves books that are interactive, you will want to purchase a copy of this book. Each page has a simple rhyme that describes a holiday or Christmas item ( angel, tree, Santa, reindeer, elf, snowman, etc.) You read the rhyme or characteristics to the child and allow the child to guess what he or she thinks it is. Then the child lifts the flap on the next page to disclose the answer to the rhyme. The illustrator Tom Mills drew colorful drawings which will capture any young child's attention. I know you will enjoy this book as much as I did. It would make a great Christmas present.
