Today, Walmart launches its Christmas layaway program making it the top destination for Apple products as well as many other in-demand electronics and toys. Not only will Walmart’s layaway program allow parents to make bite-size payments on the latest iPad and iPods, they also don’t have to look for places to hide the coveted white boxes. Parents simply need to make a 10% down payment and return by December 16 to grab the No. 1 gift on their kid’s wish list.
To ensure you get an Apple experience in a Walmart store, the company is decking the aisles with special in-store displays to showcase the new devices, as well as allow shoppers to test the products for themselves. Trained staff members will also be available on pre-specified days to demo the products and answer any and all customer questions in-store.
Walmart is offering the holiday wish list products below for less this holiday season:
· Apple iPhone 4S 16G (Verizon) - $188 ($10 price advantage over other major retailers)· Apple iPad2, 16GB - $499
· Apple iPad2, 32GB - $599
· Apple iPod Touch, 32GB - $278.98
· Apple iPod Nano, 8GB - $129.86
