Book and Product Review - Stinky Kids

About the Book
Meet the StinkyKids®, a diverse group of 10 “little stinKers,” each with their own unique qualities.

The StinkyKids® series helps children learn to make right choices and reminds them to “Always Be A Leader Of Good.” Their heartwarming, funny and real–life adventures capture the true innocence of childhood and the lessons we learned through our mistakes—when we were just StinkyKids® ourselves.

Saturday was Britt’s favorite day. It was the day Britt had a playdate with her friends Hannah, Max and Julie. But this Saturday Britt had a secret. A secret she didn’t want to tell her mommy and daddy. A secret that could stop her favorite playdate from happening!

The “little stinKers” try their best to help Britt with her secret. Along the way, they learn that sometimes, secrets need a parent’s help to solve.

About the Author
Britt Menzies is a mother, wife and artist with a flair for originality. Inspired by her own two beautiful “little stinkers,” Britt is the founder, creator, and spirit behind StinkyKids®. While she was enjoying a career that allowed her to travel the world, she had always had a passion for art. The birth of her son inspired her to leave the corporate world and revisit her creative side. Today, a few years and a daughter later, the result is StinkyKids®.

Along with being a stay–at–home mom and entrepreneur, Britt is an active volunteer with Books, Bears and Bonnets, Inc., a non–profit organization founded by her mother in memory of Britt’s late aunt.

A portion of profits goes towards bringing smiles to cancer patients through booksbearsandbonnets.org.

John attended the University of Central Florida where he received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Graphic Design.

My Take on the BookThis was a fun book that encompasses a lot of great messages that all parents want to have their children to embody. Not only does the book talk about expressing emotions, creative problem solving and having to live with the decisions that are made, it also is a feel good story that allows the reader to see and understand that they should not be afraid to talk to their parents when bad things happen. While the Stinky Kids are a bit mischievous, they are a good embodiment of the regular child in all children.

I was also able to review one of the Stinky Kid Dolls and I have to say that these dolls are so well constructed and there is so much detail upon them. If you like Stinky Kids in the books you will love them as dolls!
