Book Review - The Misanthrope's Guide to Life

About the Book
Misanthrope, n.: 1.) One who hates mankind; a curmudgeon; a loner; 2.) The guy in your office who responded to your e-mail of baby photos with "D-. Passing, but not college material"; 3.) A Realist

Do you pretend to check your phone in the elevator just to avoid small talk? Do you avoid organized sports at all costs? Do you turn down friend requests just for fun? If you answered yes to any of these (and consider Larry David a hero among heroes), then you may indeed have joined the ranks of the ruthlessly, yet fashionably, misanthropic.

With THE MISANTHROPE'S GUIDE TO LIFE: (Go Away!) (Adams Media, a division of F+W Media; September 2011) by Meghan Rowland and Chris Turner-Neal misanthropes everywhere will learn how to cope with their natural enemy: people.

My Take on the BookThis book is not for the shy at heart and if you are embarrassed by the F word, this book may not be your cup of tea. If you however like a fast and humorous read at a different way to look at life this book will open your eyes and your mind. The book was easy to read and the layout encouraged the reader to fly through the book itself. I enjoyed reading this, even though I did not relate to everything that was being shared.
