Wreck This App replicates the format of Smith’s book with interactive tools that allow kids to draw, paint, drip, and smear. But unlike typical drawing apps, the app prompts kids to employ their best mess-making and destructive abilities, whether doodling on top of an imported self-portrait or tapping “holes” on the screen. The resulting creations can be shared, with easy prompts for exporting to Facebook and Flickr.
“Wreck This App is awesome, because you can do stuff like drip paint on your phone,” says eight-year-old Nathaniel.
