Back-to-school savings tool for families

Back to school is just around the corner, which means families everywhere will soon be heading out, stocking up and forking over fistfuls of money on everything from pencils to peanut butter.

According to the National Retail Federation, the average family spends $550 on school supplies each fall, making this time of year second only to Christmas for total consumer spending.

That’s why the folks at online rewards destination, Swagbucks, have added lots of back-to-school supplies like backpacks, Webster’s dictionaries, flash cards, and college-ruled notebooks, to help alleviate some of the spending pains.

Not familiar with Swagbucks? Swagbucks is an online rewards destination that enables users to earn virtual currency (“Swag Bucks”) and real-life rewards for the myriad everyday actions they take online – from searching the web to playing games to shopping online, among others.   And once you’ve checked off everything on your fall shopping list you can also earn electronics, video games, collectibles, apparel, books, music downloads, gift cards, toys, jewelry, accessories, and more.

Based in Los Angeles, CA, Swagbucks.com is an online rewards destination that enables users to earn virtual currency and real life rewards for the everyday actions they take online – from searching the web to playing games to shopping online, among others.
