About the Book Each year in the cosmos, on the Night of Dancing Stars, the Elfix aliens distribute gifts to all the creatures of the galaxy. But this year, the holiday is fast approaching, and the spacemice discover that the Elfix have all disappeared! Can Geronimo Stiltonix and his crew find them before their special night?

My Take on the Book
Here is the newest Geronimo Stilton adventure book for a young reader grades 2 - 4. In this story Geronimo and his family/friends must help save the elfix who visit each year on their sled and bring gifts.

The nebulos captured the kind and sweet elfixes to force them to make gifts just for them. You see the nebulos are creatures that when they are not happy they turn gray and are mean. Because they did not receive gifts , they became very mean.

The story has its usual funny lines that are related to cheese. There is problem solving and quick thinking by many of the characters.

I found the themes to be appropriate for children. In the story the nebulos were not happy and so illustrated their displeasure by forcing the elfixes to make gifts. When Geronimo learned that the nebulos just needed someone to show them friendship and kindness, everything changed. They became helpful, happy, and were sorry to be such bullies. So being good and generous is better than being bad and envious.
