About the Book
Get ready with Daisy the dawdler as she tries (really!) to get it together in this very real, very funny spin on dilly dallying.

Daisy Marsha Martin is always late. For good reasons, of course. She’s busy saving the world, or teaching her stuffed animals to dance, or finding the perfect shirt to wear. But if Daisy is late one more time, then it’s no more mermaid swim class for her!

This is the perfect story for fans of everyday silliness and for every kid who has been told to stop dawdling.

My Take on the Book
Mark Fearing has written a story that will put a smile on your face. The illustrations will also bring smiles. This is such a delightful story about a little girl who procrastinates.

You and your child will enjoy reading about Daisy. Daisy is creative. Daisy is a problem solver when she needs to become one. Daisy even plays with her little brother (if dressing him up like a princess is an indication of her playfulness) Daisy takes care of her toys. But Daisy also frustrates her mother because she is always late.

We all know someone who is a procrastinator. This book is a great introduction for your young child about being on time. I think you will laugh out loud and have good conversations. You will want to read this story over and over again.
