My Take on the Book
The cookbook includes recipes for breakfast, simple suppers, puddings, snacks, baked goods, and drinks. The entries are as eclectic as one can imagine which makes for not only interesting reading, but also delicious eating.

There are beautiful photographs of the foods plus some scenic photographs included. There is a short introduction to many of the recipes which I found an added plus. You will find sweet and savory recipes. I felt most of the ingredients you would already have in either your home pantry or could be purchased at your local grocery store. The instructions were easy to follow which is always something I look for in a cookbook.

One recipe I enjoy making is the sundried tomato hummus. It is easy to prepare and so tasty. This could be served as an appetizer or to put in a sandwich in place of mayonnaise or mustard.

Buon Appetito!
