About the Book
Peter and Penguin wake up to snow on the ground and immediately get bundled up to play outside. After making snowballs and a snowman and enjoying the perfect winter day together, they return inside to warm up and share some cocoa.

In this companion to Ben Loves Bear and Bella Loves Bunny, the youngest readers will relate to the loving bond between a little boy and his favorite stuffed animal, and how this sweet friendship makes each day special.

My Take on the Book
David McPhail's book is written for a young child. It has sturdy pages and colorful illustrations. The sentence structure is perfect for a young child's attention span. It is a sweet story about a boy and his penguin friend.

Children have their favorite stuffed animals that go everywhere and do everything with the child. Penguin accompanies Peter on adventures. What kind of adventures does your child and his/her favorite toy friend enjoy together?

Maybe you and your child can create your own story and make a little book to share.
