My Take on the Movie
Hallmark began a series about a young woman who follows her heart and becomes a teacher in a mining town called Coal Valley.  She experiences many challenges reaching the town and once there finds that there had been an explosion in the  mine and many men (fathers, sons, husbands) were killed. Her job is to teach the children of the miners. Mountie Jack becomes an important part of her life and this particular DVD is about their relationship blossoming, Elizabeth (the young teacher) dealing with her sister's unexpected visit, bank robbers in town, and Jack's transfer being granted. There is plenty of action and you will get to know the characters well in this movie through their actions and conversations. There are secrets revealed and disappointments voiced.  I enjoyed the movie and sincerely hope Hallmark will continue the series in the near future.
