About the Book
Another year, another book of amazing world records!

Did you know that the biggest fish is the whale shark? Or that Massachusetts is the state with the oldest baseball stadium? The 2015 edition of SCHOLASTIC BOOK OF WORLD RECORDS will feature more fun full-color photographs throughout, completely updated facts and stats, brand-new interior design, a brand-new bonus section in the back, and the "Read for the World Record."

My Take on the Book
This book is full of interesting information and detailed photographs. The table of contents lists the following areas of content: science and technology, money, pop culture, nature US, and sports. There is an enormous amount of history embedded in the facts listed in this book. It would be a great gift book or one to sit and share with someone too.

I will relate one set of facts I thought was interesting because i enjoy traveling. The Golden Gate Bridge is the most visited national site in the United States. The next four sites that were listed after the Golden Gate Bridge are: Blue Ridge Parkway, Great Smoky Mountains National Park, George Washington Memorial Parkway, and the Lincoln Memorial. I have seen them all and they certainly are worth putting on your list of places to visit too.

One other fact I thought was interesting too is that the Blue Whale can weigh up to 143.3 tons and can eat up to 4 tons of krill in one day.

So there are a few facts to get you started.I think you will enjoy this new book of world records.
