About the Book
Young astronomers can explore the mysteries of our very own star, the sun, in this engaging book. Inside, sun-related topics, from its immense size and power to solar eclipses, light speed and more are covered. Fun activities at the back of the book reinforce the information and allows kids to test what they've learned. Also includes a guide for parents that expands on some of the terminology and concepts.

My Take on the Book
If your child wants to know about the sun, here is an excellent book to read to them. The authors have written a nonfiction story for children. It is written in language children will understand easily and the illustrations accompany the text beautifully.

There are activities and a parents' page at the end of the book. I know you and your child will enjoy learning the information and performing the activities together.
