Book Review - The Boxcar Children: The Lighthouse Mystery

About the Book
Renting a lighthouse is unusual, but even more so is an unfriendly boy's peculiar behavior.

My Take on the Book
The Alden children and their grandfather take a summer vacation to the New England coast and stay in a lighthouse. Strange events begin to happen and as in all the Box Car Children stories, a mystery needs to be solved.

This story involves learning how to use seaweed and plankton for food to feed those who are hungry in our world.

Once again the chapters provide excellent descriptions of the scenery and events and dialogue between the characters in the book.

Another enjoyable book by Gertrude Chandler Warner for your children to read.
