Book Review - All Through My Town

About the Book
Rising, waking
Bread is baking
School bus honks its horn

Who are the people in your neighborhood? Perfect for the pre-K set, this adorable rhyming text takes a walking tour of your community. The fresh modern art of Leo Timmers features hidden details and a perennial theme reminiscent of Richard Scarry. Little ones will beg to re-read again as they discover the characters who repeat throughout the art in this sweet and vibrant story.

My Take on the Book
This was a perfect book for a pre-k child that loves to not only learn about the world around them, but also loves a cadence in rhyme that is infectious. As it says above the book does remind me of the Richard Scarry book that my youngest daughter loves. I really loved the characters most within the story personally, but even beyond that the rhymes are fun and light but will make you come back again and again!
