Book Review - Professor Tuesday's Awesome Adventures in History: Book Three

My Take on the Book
This was a great book in the series that truly brings history alive for the characters within the story. One of the main characters wants to become better acquainted with the underground railroad because her relatives had gone through it to be able to reach their own freedom eventually in Canada. Professor Tuesday as usual is able to allow for the kids to have a firsthand experience that gives them amazing insights into how the underground railroad worked as well as the risks and the rewards of the program itself. As in the other two books in the series I was really impressed with how the author brought forward history in a fun way for young readers. Even as an adult I found this book to be so much fun to read, and I learned quite a bit as well. This is the type of book that I enjoy sharing with my own kids because it educates them as well as entertains them. On top of this the characters are memorable and the education that the reader is receiving is not being rammed down their throats but instead is being shared widely step-by-step allowing the reader to come to realizations for themselves. I highly encourage everyone to read this and the other two books in the series as it will truly open your eyes to history, and make you even more appreciative of the world we live in today.
