Toystate James Bond "For Your Eyes Only" R/C: Aston Martin DBS V12 (Quantum of Solace)

About the Car
James Bond, code name "007", British Secret Service. Licensed to kill. 2012 marks the 50th anniversary of the release of the first James Bond movie, "Dr. No". It also marks the release of the 23rd movie in the franchise, "Skyfall". The 50 years of James Bond have brought to life some of the most recognizable cars in the world. Cars that exemplify the pinnacle of automotive luxury and the zenith of secret agent stealth and technology. To commemorate this anniversary Toy State, the industry leading maker of action packed lights and sounds cars, is introducing a line of the iconic James Bond 007 automobiles. Cars that faithfully recreate those seen in the movies. These cars feature special lights, hidden, pop-up weapons, dramatic motorized actions and, of course, the iconic James Bond theme music. The For Your Eyes Only R/C gives you the car chase of a life time. A smart phone inspired "touch screen" controller guides the full-function radio control driving of the Aston Martin DBS from Quantum of Solace. Just like the car in the movie the DBS performs high speed, death-defying front and side wheelies, all controlled by you and the "smart phone" controller. The DBS has working head lights and tail lights and the iconic Bond theme music. And there are 2 ways to play, for double the fun. Push the buttons on the car for traditional lights and sound play or use the controller for high speed R/C action. The cars in the For Your Eyes Only range have multiple channels for head-to-head play.

My Take on the Car
I have been a fan of 007 movies for as long as I can remember. Whether it was Sean Connery, Roger Moore, Pierce Brosnan or now even Daniel Craig (among others), I was always drawn in by the amazing action as well as the gadgets that James Bond always had in his disposal and that included the cars he was able to drive. I even would go as far as saying that I envied Mr. Bond for the cars he was able to drive and wished that I too could have a cool car like that someday.

Today is that day! While it is not a car that I can personally get into and drive, I can still have some great RC fun with this. I loved the fact that this RC not only was able to be controlled by the remote that you see above, but this car also had some hidden secret moves that allowed you to do some stunts with it as well which was completely awesome!

Toystate went even beyond offering  only this car and has replicated a number of the bond cars for ultimate Bond fans and is selling them exclusively on Amazon. If the rest of the cars are like this one and you are as big of a fan as I am, you will want to pick up some for your own collection!
