Book Review - The Art Creativity Book: With Games, Cut-Outs, Art Paper, Stickers, and Stencils

About the Book
New this season in Barron's growing list of Creativity Activity Books for kids is The Art Creativity Book, , filled with fun things for boys and girls to do. All titles in the series feature--

  • Games, puzzles, stencils, sticker sheets, and an illustrated gatefold page for sticker decorating
  • Special pull-out art paper and art projects to complete
  • Pages for coloring
  • Fun-to-answer quizzes

Illustrations on virtually every page include 40 pages in color. When kids open The Art Creativity Book they're inspired to make a colorful collage with art paper, find the difference between an art masterpiece and a forgery, learn to draw a human face, change the expression on Mona Lisa's face, color Van Gogh's Sunflowers, and more.

My Take on the Book
If you have a child in your family that enjoys drawing, coloring , making things, puzzles, mazes, games and more, this is a book which I think will delight her/ him and keep them busy in a positive way. The author included information about famous artists like Vincent Van Gogh, Paul Klee, Gustav Klimt, and Claude Monet , to name a few.

I see this book as a great gift for a child that enjoys being creative. It could easily be taken on a vacation as a source of entertainment and fun.
