My Take on the Book
As a parent I am always looking for ways to educate my children. Whether this is through games, books, activities or the like, I am always trying to find something new. Thus, when I can find books like this that help bring together many resources in one place, it makes my life a lot easier. With the fact that we read a ton to our kids, this book is amazing as it makes great connections between children's books and the math concepts that they contain. The book has a great array of books that the author has made connection to and many of them were ones that I had heard of in the past, but had not put together the connection to math concepts within them. There were others though that I had not heard of and this book spurred me into going to our own library's website to see if I could place some of these other books on hold. The book was easy to read and is a great resource for any parent or teacher!
