Book Review - How to Treat Your Pets with Over-the-Counter Drugs

About the Book
How to Treat Your Pets with Over-the-Counter Drugs" was written by a veterinarian to make sure that all pets can get the care they need, even when their owners cannot afford veterinary care. Dr. Bob Ridgway offers easy-to-read charts of safe dosages, treatments you can do in the home, and guidelines for when yes, you absolutely need to take your pet to a vet.

My Take on the Book
If you have a cat or a dog and they have ever had to take medicine you have seen how expensive this can be. I know that for me, I have two cats and when they are ill the cost of the medicine can easily be close to $100 or more. What was nice about this book was that the author offers easy practical advice for all pet owners on what they can do to treat their pets while still saving money as well as the medicine that he speaks about are all over-the-counter drugs. The book is easy to understand and to read and is well laid out for the symptoms and issues that your pet has. This is a great resource for any pet owner!
