Book Review - The Truth About Sex

About the Book
Have you ever wondered why we think one type of sex is better than another? Are inhibitions or confusion about sex holding you back? Do you think you're a sex addict? Have you given up on having good orgasms with your partner? Are you worried sex will break up your relationship?

We live in a culture that’s been fed lies about sex. I thought your readers would be interested in a whole new way of looking at the topic that our society is obsessed with. Bestselling author Dr. Gloria Brame’s new book: The Truth About Sex uncovers intimate facts our culture is simply ignorant about. She can attest:

FACT: Masturbation every day is healthy.
FACT: Women who orgasm frequently reduce their risk of endometriosis.
FACT: Circumcision became popular in the U.S. as a deterrent to masturbation.

Dr. Gloria’s first book of a planned three-volume set, The Truth About Sex, is a complete primer on new models for talking about, thinking about and understanding your inner sexual identity. This is the book parents will want their teenagers to read and wish they had when they were their age (but are just as glad to have now)!

Dr. Gloria provides a whole new way of looking at intimacy in The Truth About Sex. She can help readers discover:

  • The most popular forms of sex
  • How normalcy is sexual diversity
  • How orgasms combat depression, stress, chronic pain and more

With a Ph.D. in Human Sexuality and as one of the world's foremost clinical sexologists, Dr. Gloria can provide your readers with refreshingly original facts about sex that are sure to shed new light on their intimate lives.

My Take on the BookWhat was interesting about this book was that the author does not mince word nor hold back on her conversation about sex itself. She aims to tackle many of the myths and realities about what sex is and what people feel and why they feel and need the things that they do when it comes to sex itself.

The book was powerful and the true life examples brings credibility to the book. This book is only the first in a series of three, and if this book is any indication, I would have to say that the other two will be great as well.

The book covers so many areas that are at times seen as taboo to talk about, and this book brings it all to the surface.

If you have ever had questions about sex, this book will illuminate it all!
