A quintet of adorable talking puppies followed the “Bud” movies in 2006, with the highly anticipated launch of the BUDDIES series – and a puppy craze began as AIR BUDDIES became the biggest live‐action Direct‐To‐DVD movie of the year!
Following in those triumphant paw prints, the wise‐cracking pups went North to Alaska to compete in a daring dogsled adventure, barking up yet another #1 for 2008, as SNOW BUDDIES crossed the finish line as the best‐selling live‐action Direct‐to‐DVD of all time*! My Take on the MovieAs animal lovers our girls have some to love some of the movies that have come out from Disney in the past as mentioned above. I can remember back to my first movie experiences as a child seeing Old Yeller Though this movie was not the happiest of movies (in the end) it showed the love of an animal and his master. Lately I have been impresed with everything else that the movie business can do to weave in a fun storyline, with animals, and this story is nothing different.

Overall, my girls, J-Mom and I all though that the movie was cute and it was one that I could see us watching over and over in the future. The plot was fun (though predicatable in some places), but the girls were entertained and they loved watching what the dogs would do next. If you are looking for a fun, family-oriented film, this is a great one to check out!
