Book Review - Adopt A Glurb

Reading this amusing book will take you into the funny world of how to adopt and take care of an imaginary creature called a Glurb.

This book is written in a cartoon style with conversation balloons. The illustrations are funny but easy to understand even for the youngest child.

The book tells us where Glurbs come from. It describes the anatomy of a Glurb and how very clever a Glurb can be. A Glurb likes to play tricks and can be a rascal so watch out!
The story specifically instructs how you must care for your Glurb: how to wash it, feed it, what activities the Glurb enjoys, and what makes them happy.

I see this book as a a great way for you and your child to have fun creating your own Glurb. Use this time together to discuss the specific traits of the Glurb you adopted, how to care for it ,the activities your Glurb enjoys, and what makes it happy. You could even design a house for your Glurb and maybe a playground.Take an imaginary vacation with your Glurb and tell about the fun or even the antics your Glurb created on the trip. The fun is endless. This opportunity gives you a chance to spend special time and develop conversation with your child.

Just think , you will encourage their imagination and you will be creating a memory by the reading of the book and the choice of going forward with an additional activity. Enjoy!

If this book sounds like something you would like to have in your own library you can find it on Amazon!
